Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Deli Department Manager to lead daily deli operations, drive sales, and uphold high standards for quality and safety in a busy store environment.

You will supervise, train, and coach deli associates, manage schedules and inventory, and collaborate with store leadership to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

This on-site role requires flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays, with competitive weekly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli production and food handling.
• Merchandising and store presentation knowledge.
• Ability to review sales and labor data.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily deli operations with emphasis on service, quality, and readiness.
• Create a fast, friendly, customer-first environment and handle questions and requests.
• Execute merchandising plans, planograms, promotions, and seasonal sets.
• Oversee slicing, cooking, packaging, and merchandising of deli items per recipes and standards.
• Maintain attractive service cases and displays.
• Manage ordering, inventory, shrink, logs, and waste reporting.
• Build schedules aligned with sales and labor targets.
• Hire, train, and develop deli associates with teamwork.
• Ensure food safety and sanitation compliance.
