Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a Deli Associate to maintain department appearance, quality, variety, safety, and food safety standards. You will build customer relations and provide enthusiastic customer awareness, while supporting Hannaford strategy.

Responsibilities include following policies, maintaining sanitation, assisting in training others, and developing product knowledge across deli sections. The role offers opportunities to work with a friendly team in a busy grocery environment.

• Observe and follow all company policies and established standard practices.
• Maintain a neat, well-groomed personal appearance and comply with personal appearance policy.
• Assist in special projects and perform other functions as assigned by supervision.
• Assist in training other associates when assigned.
• Maintain solid communication in the department and throughout the organization.
• Work within our management planning (MPP) guidelines to maintain productivity.
• Support company safety standards and report needed equipment repairs or maintenance.
• Treat all coworkers with fairness, dignity, and respect.
• Develop product knowledge in all deli areas (meats, cheese, salads, sandwiches).
• Observe and maintain the department's standard practice manual and its intent.
• Observe and maintain sanitation and food safety standards.
• Maintain the department's appearance and presentation.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
