The Fresh Market Inc is seeking a Deli Department Lead to support the Deli Manager in creating an extraordinary guest experience and leading the team with care and purpose. You will coach staff, monitor operations, and ensure the deli department looks its best.

You’ll work closely with your manager and team to grow while celebrating successes. You will help manage labor, inventory, promotions, and performance metrics, stepping in as acting manager when needed and fostering a culture of

• Minimum 1+ years of progressive management experience in supermarkets, retail, or related sectors.
• Strong leadership to motivate and develop teams and deliver guest experiences.
• Proven ability to meet performance goals while delivering exceptional service.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor labor schedules to meet productivity and budget goals.
• Maintain accurate inventory, minimize shrink, and support ordering.
• Act as a resource for team and guide in manager’s absence.
• Coach staff to deliver impeccable hospitality and positive guest experiences.
• Implement merchandising and promotional plans to maximize sales.
• Analyze department financial and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with department leaders to drive store success.
• Leverage available technology to perform tasks.
