Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Food safety certification may be required based on company policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily deli department operations.
• Ensure products are prepared, displayed, and stocked according to company standards.
• Monitor product quality, freshness, and presentation throughout the day.
• Support production planning to meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
• Maintain department cleanliness, organization, and readiness for inspections.
• Assist with training, coaching, and developing deli associates.
• Act as acting department leader when the Deli Manager is absent.
• Assist with performance management and associate development efforts.
