Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Deli Manager in Florida to help supervise the Deli team, manage daily operations, and ensure fresh product quality while delivering top-notch customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will assist in scheduling, training, and performance coaching, coordinate with store leadership on inventory and merchandising, and uphold health and safety standards to create a welcoming, high-service deli experience.

Qualifications

• Have at least 18 years of age with a preferred 2 years supervisory experience and strong knowledge of deli or related food service.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Proven leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff; understand margins and financial goals.
• Maintain Food Safety certification and adhere to all regulations for product freshness, food safety, and sanitation.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Coordinate production, merchandising, and sales with planning and teamwork.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Deli Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Deli team
• Effectively coordinate production, merchandising, and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, developing the Deli team
• Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment
• Ensure the execution of all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations by the Deli team
