Hannaford on Bangor's Broadway store is seeking a Deli Associate to maintain department appearance, quality, variety, safety and food safety at the highest level. You will build customer relations and promote enthusiastic awareness while supporting Hannaford's strategic goals.

You will lead, train, and collaborate with teammates, follow MPP guidelines and policies, and ensure sanitation and product knowledge across deli items such as meats, cheese, salads, and sandwiches.

• Support company safety standards. Communicate any needed equipment repairs or maintenance work needed. Keep work area free from debris and safety hazards.

• Develop product knowledge in all areas of deli department (deli meats, cheese, salads, sandwiches, etc.).
• Have total understanding of department's standard practice manual and its intent.
• Observe and maintain company sanitation and food safety standards.
• Maintain the quality of department's appearance and presentation.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
