FiveStar Food Mart in Shelbyville, KY is hiring Customer Service Representatives to provide a friendly, quick, and safe atmosphere for customers and fellow employees. You will conduct sales transactions, ensure the deli area is well stocked and clean, and assist with food preparation in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

Greet customers, thank them, make eye contact, and engage with customers to create a welcoming atmosphere.
Process fast-paced, accurate sales transactions on a register and handle voids or misprints diligently.
Prepare quality food using equipment (fryers, ovens, slicers) per FiveStar guidelines and food safety standards.
Maintain PAR levels in the Deli (Cold and Hot).
Promote FiveStar specials and use suggestive selling on each transaction.
Clean and merchandise sales areas (deli, sales floor, cooler) to keep products appealing and available.
Clean floors, restrooms, parking lots, and other areas around the store.
Practice safe working habits aligning with company safety rules.
Follow all local, state, and federal laws and company policies.
