Responsibilities

• Provides prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions.
• Smiles and greets customers, and addresses them by name when possible.
• Assists customers by escorting to products, securing items, and handling requests at the delicatessen counter.
• Runs department registers and receives payment, makes change where applicable.
• Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of the work area and checks food freshness.
• Works with coworkers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
