Job summary

County Fair Food Store in Mitchell, SD is seeking a friendly, self-motivated Deli Cook to support food preparation and service to our quality standards. Afternoon and early evening hours, 25-40 hours per week.

You will operate deli equipment, know the menu, assist with catering setup, prepare salads, sandwiches and hot lunches, and ensure safety and sanitation regulations are followed. This position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude in a busy deli environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening/closing duties of the Deli
• Provide excellent customer service
• Know the menu and prepare food on the grill
• Assist Deli Managers with cooking and setting up for catering events
• Prepare salads, sandwiches, and hot lunches
• Operate and clean all deli equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with department and State health safety and sanitation regulations
• Assume additional duties and responsibilities as needed
