Kj's Market is hiring for a friendly, guest-focused position in a fast-paced deli environment. You will help guests, maintain product quality, and support kitchen operations while delivering smiles in a community-focused store.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Must actively engage guests and have fun.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to take direction from supervision.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate superior guest service personally at all times.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.
