Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED, plus six months of customer service experience, or relevant education and experience.
  • Ability to complete initial store training and pass barista certification with a score of 90% or higher.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Availability to work weekends, any shift, and overtime as needed.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
  • Familiarity with industry and technical terms and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Modeling Customer 1st behavior; delivering and encouraging excellent customer service.
  • Promoting and adhering to company initiatives.
  • Greeting customers, answering questions, and suggesting products to enhance service and meet sales goals.
  • Maintaining cleanliness of the customer service area and equipment.
  • Preparing various customer beverage orders, including espresso drinks and Coffee of the Day, to standard.
  • Following store policies and procedures.
  • Performing cleaning tasks as scheduled and maintaining standards.
  • Managing merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing products.
  • Following cash handling and register policies.
  • Adhering to inventory stocking and recording guidelines.
  • Working cooperatively in high-paced and sometimes stressful environments.
  • Managing conflicts in a reasonable and cooperative manner.
  • Acting with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
  • Following directions and seeking assistance to resolve issues.
  • Supporting interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
  • Performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
