Job summary

Qualifications

  • Ability to complete Initial Store Training and pass barista certification with a score of 90% or better.
  • Ability to work weekends, any shift, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to organize/prioritize tasks and follow company policies.
  • Familiarity with industry terms and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and answer questions; suggest products to enhance service and meet sales goals.
  • Prepare beverage orders (espresso drinks, Coffee of the Day) to standard.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the service area and equipment.
  • Follow store policies, procedures and cash handling policies.
  • Assist with stocking, merchandising, and inventory recording; work cooperatively under pressure.

Responsibilities
  • Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
  • Promote and follow company initiatives
  • Greet customers, answer questions, and suggest product to enhance service and meet sales goals
  • Maintain cleanliness of customer service area and equipment
  • Prepare a variety of customer beverage orders such as espresso drinks and Coffee of the Day to standard
  • Follow store policies and procedures
  • Perform cleaning tasks in accordance with the duty rosters and cleaning standards
  • Follow standards for merchandising, stocking, rotating, and storing all products
  • Follow cash handling and register policies
  • Follow inventory stocking and recording guidelines
  • Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
  • Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
  • Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues
  • Provide support and assistance through direct interaction with minors, individuals with special needs, and/or older adults
  • Must be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Qualifications
