Job summary

Rosauers Supermarkets in the Inland Northwest seeks a friendly deli team member to create an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers. You will greet guests, listen to needs, recommend and prepare deli items, and help keep displays inviting while following food safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing special orders, updating displays, weighing and pricing deli items, and supporting the deli team to deliver great service. 18+ and ability to lift 25–50 lbs required.

Qualifications

Candidates must be 18+ years or older.
Complete a pre-employment background check
Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 50 lbs.
Food Worker Card

Responsibilities

Creating an all-around enjoyable shopping experience for customers.
Welcoming and greeting customers when entering or leaving the store.
Listening to customers to understand their needs.
Recommending, slicing, weighing, packaging, and pricing deli items.
Preparing special orders, take-out items, and party trays.
Updating displays, cases and other customer-facing areas.
Following all food safety and sanitation procedures.
Ensuring work areas are clean and ready to service customers.
Cooperating with others to ensure customer satisfaction.
Help lead and motivate the deli department team.
