Are you passionate about food service and enjoy providing customers (we call them guests!) with meal options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? We are seeking a Deli Clerk to play a crucial role in food preparation and guest service in our retail grocery environment.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

• Provide Helpful Service: Deliver excellent guest service with professionalism and care, greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Guest Assistance: Help guests locate items and answer the Deli Department telephone professionally.
• Order Fulfillment: Prepare and fulfill guest orders and requests with attention to detail and quality.
• Customer Service: Address and resolve guest concerns promptly, supporting a positive experience.
• Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, maintain, and replenish deli products to ensure high standards.
• Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels in deli storage and supplies.
• Food Safety: Maintain food safety logs and adhere to safety standards.
• Efficiency: Meet quality standards by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
• Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide notice for absences.
• Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
