Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is hiring a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh deli items, slice meats and cheeses, and create an inviting customer experience. You will help customers choose from prepared foods and maintain hot and cold cases while staying busy in a fast-paced environment.

The role includes stocking, labeling, and ensuring product freshness, as well as handling transactions with accuracy. Prior food service or customer service experience is preferred, with availability for early mornings,

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items, including slicing, assembling, and portioning.
• Stock and restock display cases and keep displays clean and organized.
• Assist customers with selections and provide friendly, efficient service.
• Maintain product freshness and monitor temperatures for safety.
• Process transactions and handle cash accurately using the register system.
