Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is hiring a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh foods and provide a welcoming customer experience. You will help customers choose deli meats, cheeses, hot foods, and grab-and-go items, while slicing, portioning, and labeling with care.

You’ll keep the deli stocked and clean, maintain displays, monitor product freshness, and work in a fast-paced environment. Availability for early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items and help customers select deli meats, cheeses, and prepared foods.
• Keep the deli department stocked, clean, and organized throughout the day.
• Operate slicers and food prep equipment safely.
• Maintain accurate displays, labeling, and portioning.
• Assist with transactions and customer service in a friendly manner.
