Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Deli Clerk to join our fast-paced deli team. You will help customers choose from deli meats, cheeses and prepared items, and confidently slice, portion and assemble items for grab-and-go meals.

You'll keep displays organized, restock products, monitor freshness and temperature, and work with equipment safely in a customer-focused environment. Flexible schedules and weekly pay are available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli items and assist customers with selections.
• Slice meats, assemble and portion items for grab-and-go.
• Keep deli stocked, clean, and visually appealing displays.
• Monitor product freshness and maintain proper temperatures.
• Operate slicers and equipment safely and efficiently.
