Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh foods, assist customers with deli meats, cheeses, hot foods, and ready-to-enjoy items, while delivering a welcoming and efficient service.

You will keep displays stocked and organized, maintain product freshness, slice and portion items, label and price correctly, and handle transactions with accuracy, all within food-safety guidelines and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in deli or customer service preferred.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment safely.
• Basic math for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation procedures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare deli products and assist customers with selections.
• Keep display cases stocked, clean, and visually appealing.
• Label, price, and portion items accurately for customers.
• Maintain product freshness and temperature control throughout the day.
