Meijer, a family company serving people and communities, is hiring a Food Clerk to create a fresh, welcoming store experience in Fresh departments. You’ll stock, rotate, and merchandise products, share knowledge with customers, and build positive connections with teammates.

Ideal candidates enjoy helping customers, staying active in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable learning job-specific technology. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
