Job summary

Meijer is seeking a friendly Food Clerk to deliver excellent customer service in our Fresh departments. You will help customers, share product knowledge, and maintain clean, well‑stocked displays while working across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery areas.

Ideal candidates enjoy a fast-paced environment, stay active on the floor, and are willing to learn store technology. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise products according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures across departments (Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce, Grocery).
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
