Qualifications

• Customer-facing role requiring clear communication with customers in person or by phone.
• Experience in preparing deli items, slicing, assembling, and portioning.
• Understanding of deli meats, cheeses, prepared foods, and hot case items.
• Attention to accurate portioning, labeling, pricing, and completing orders.
• Organizing displays and managing tasks to maintain workflow and service speed.
• Keeping display cases stocked, clean, and visually consistent.
• Handling transactions and giving correct change at the register (location dependent).
• Following food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing customer demand.
• Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35lbs, and working in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and stock fresh deli items, help customers select from meats, cheeses, and ready-to-eat products.
• Slice meats, assemble grab-and-go options, and ensure product freshness.
• Maintain clean, organized displays and monitor temperatures and stock levels.
