Job summary

PCC Community Markets in Kirkland, WA is hiring Deli Clerks to provide exceptional customer service at the deli counter and other deli stations. You will assist with basic food prep, packaging, and maintaining sanitation and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Role involves working at the deli, ensuring high-quality product presentation, and possibly assisting with ordering and recipe development as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to provide excellent, professional customer service.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends.
• Previous production cooking or deli prep experience preferred.
• Able to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must meet physical demands including standing, bending, twisting, lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent, professional customer service at the deli counter and stations.
• Produces prepared foods in accordance with PCC recipes, including grab-and-go items.
• Maintains department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards.
• Follows safe food handling procedures.
• Responsible for hot bar presentation and production.
• Follows merchandising standards and stocking procedures.
• Performs packaging duties and may handle ordering tasks.
• May oversee other kitchen staff as assigned.
