Albertsons Companies Inc. is hiring a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh deli items, assist customers, and maintain attractive, well-stocked displays in our Kirkland-area Safeway store. You will slice meats, assemble grab-and-go options, and help keep the department clean and organized throughout the day.

In this role, you’ll handle multiple tasks, interact with customers, and ensure proper food safety standards while working in a busy environment that values efficiency and friendliness.

Qualifications

• Clear communication when taking orders in person or by phone
• Experience preparing deli products, including slicing, assembling, and portioning
• Understanding of deli meats, cheeses, prepared foods, and hot case items
• Accuracy in portioning, labeling, pricing, and order completion
• Managing multiple tasks while maintaining workflow and service speed
• Keeping display cases stocked, clean, and visually consistent
• Processing transactions and making accurate change using register systems
• Following food safety, sanitation, and company procedures
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing customer demand
• Standing for extended periods, lifting up to 35 lbs, and working in varying temperatures

Responsibilities
