Albertsons Companies is seeking a Deli Clerk to prepare fresh foods and assist customers with deli selections including meats, cheeses, hot foods, and grab‑and‑go items. You’ll slice, portion, label, and price products while keeping displays stocked and the case clean in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining product freshness, operating slicers and prep equipment safely, and providing friendly, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to operate slicers and food preparation equipment following training and safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills for weighing, portioning, and transactions.
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Prior food service or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh deli foods and assist customers with selections of meats, cheeses, hot foods, and grab‑and‑go items.
• Slice meats, portion items, and label/price products for display.
• Stock, clean, and maintain organized deli displays and case cleanliness.
• Prepare hot and cold items and monitor product freshness and temperature throughout the day.
• Operate department equipment safely and follow food safety procedures.
