Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing excellent customer service. Your duties include arranging vegetables and sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining high food safety standards. Qualifications

To qualify as a Deli Clerk at Sprouts Farmers Market, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields.
• Be dependable, reliable, and have an outgoing, friendly attitude.
• Possess good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Be flexible with scheduling, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Be able to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 4 hours continuously.
• Perform general housekeeping and operate equipment safely.
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards; maintain a Food Handlers permit.
• Work in different temperature environments (cooler and freezer).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
