Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing excellent customer service. Your tasks include arranging vegetables or sliced meats for made-to-order sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining high standards of food safety. Opportunities for growth include learning about products, equipment, and customer service excellence. We seek individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable, reliable, and outgoing with a positive attitude.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Good communication skills, able to take direction and work in a team.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Perform general housekeeping, operate equipment safely, and adhere to safety regulations.
• Work in different temperature environments, including coolers and freezers.
