Position Overview

We’re hiring a part-time Deli Clerk to join our team! No prior experience is necessary as we provide training. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service by creating a friendly environment, engaging guests with samples, and suggestive selling.

Responsibilities include:

1. Slice, weigh, package, and label meat and cheese products
2. Prepare salads and other deli items
3. Serve food to guests from the hot case
4. Maintain attractive and stocked deli cases
5. Prepare meat and cheese trays, veggie trays, and other products for sale
6. Follow food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
7. Assist with dish washing, ingredient mixing, and catering orders as needed

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old; Hornbacher's requires applicants to be 18 or older
