Job summary

• Maintain cleanliness of department by executing day-to-day tasks of dishwashing, floor care, and counter sanitation procedures.
• Maintain refrigerated coolers, store shelves and other displays according to tag allocation, product movement and department standards.
• Prepare, package, and merchandise sandwiches, party trays, salads, chicken, hot foods etc. as directed.
• Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the Company’s dress policy.
• Follow all Company policies and procedures.
• Maintain perishable merchandise by rotating product in accordance with store policy and product code dates; pull all out-of-code merchandise.
• Other duties as assigned.

Occasional lifting up to 50lbs is required. Deli clerks should be physically able to perform all jobs/tasks associated with all aspects of store operations.The majority of tasks will be performed within the confines of the store, with some tasks being outdoors and in temperature controlled rooms within the store.Minimum Requirements for Position:Education: High diploma helpful, but not necessary.Experience: Previous experience helpful, but not necessary.Computer Experience: N/A
