Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing excellent customer service. You will arrange vegetables, sliced meats for sandwiches, assist with catering orders, and maintain food safety standards. Opportunities for growth include learning about products, equipment, and customer service skills. We seek candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Dependable and reliable
• Outgoing, friendly, with a positive attitude and good communication skills
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to answer phones, take orders, and lift/carry up to 70 lbs. without mechanical assistance
• Stand for up to 4 hours continuously, total of 8 hours per shift
• Perform general housekeeping and operate equipment safely
• Adhere to safety, health, and regulatory standards; obtain Food Handlers permit
• Work in different temperature environments (cooler and freezer)
• Other duties as assigned
