Responsibilities

As a Deli Clerk, you will help customers make healthy food choices by preparing "fresh and easy meals" and providing excellent customer service. This includes arranging vegetables, slicing meats for sandwiches, assisting with catering orders, and maintaining food safety standards. Opportunities for growth include learning more about products, equipment, and customer service skills. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent, or an acceptable combination of education and experience in grocery, restaurant, or related fields.
• Dependable and reliable
• Outgoing, friendly, positive attitude, and good customer interaction skills
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders
• Ability to lift/carry up to 70 lbs. and stand for up to 4 hours per shift
• Perform general housekeeping and operate equipment safely
• Adhere to safety and health regulations, including obtaining a Food Handlers permit
• Work in temperature-controlled environments (cooler and freezer)
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation and Benefits

Pay range: $17.45 - $23.55/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
