Job summary

Buehler's Deli is seeking a Deli Cook to prep and cook for our store, deli and catering needs. This role collaborates with the manager and teammates to ensure daily production meets customer demand and quality standards.

You will follow established production procedures, maintain sanitation, handle food safely, assist Line Cooks, and help keep the department stocked and organized, including weekends and peak times.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and able to operate kitchen equipment.
• Able to stand, reach, lift up to 80 lb, and work in a busy deli/kitchen environment.
• Follow recipes exactly and maintain food presentation standards.
• Work with minimal supervision and support other cooks and deli staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare the department's daily needs.
• Set up and prep food using established production procedures.
• Maintain sanitation, health and personal hygiene standards.
• Observe proper food handling techniques.
• Assist Line Cooks and Deli Department as needed.
• Store and label food, date items, and manage proper shelf life.
