Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Deli Associate for the Burnet Campus Food Services department. You will prepare sandwiches, wraps, soups, and other deli items according to recipes and guest requests, while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include stocking, inventory rotation, sanitation, and ensuring HACCP compliance. The role may involve cashier duties during peak periods and other duties to support department operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in food service, deli, restaurant, food prep, or customer service settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sandwiches, wraps, flatbreads, soup and other deli items per recipes and customer requests.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and assist guests with menu selections.
• Stock and replenish deli ingredients, products, condiments, and supplies.
• Monitor freshness, rotate inventory with FIFO, remove expired items.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of prep areas and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and HACCP standards.
• Assist with food display setup and merchandising to keep deli well-stocked.
• Cashier, food prep, and café duties during peak periods.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support department operations.
