Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service in the Deli Bakery Department.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Follow manuals for processing of product, label placement, etc.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise per policies.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling/preparation.
• Use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Adhere to company guidelines and standard practice.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions; report accidents to Manager on Duty.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge; maintain neat appearance.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
