Qualifications

• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service to create a positive shopping experience
• Courteous and helpful to other associates
• Follows manuals for processing, labeling, etc.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise follows policies
• Ensure proper sanitation and proper food handling
• Understand and use tools such as ACIS and CAO
• Maintain understanding of company guidelines and standard practice
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions to prevent accidents
• Report accidents per Food Lion procedures to the Manager on Duty
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge, neat appearance
• Complete CBT and training courses
• Perform all other duties as assigned
