Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a customer-focused team member for the Deli Bakery Department. You will provide fast, friendly service, maintain sanitation, and help with ordering, receiving, and display of merchandise.

You’ll follow safety guidelines, complete CBT training, and support a positive shopping experience for customers. Ideal candidates have strong interpersonal and organizational skills, are willing to learn multiple tasks, and can meet physical requirements.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department.
• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Ensure proper sanitation of the department and food handling.
• Follow manuals for processing, labeling, ordering, receiving, and displaying merchandise.
• Adhere to Food Lion policies, safety guidelines, and dress code.
• Complete required CBT and training courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
