Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Bakery/Deli Associate in Warsaw, IN to prepare and stock bakery and deli products across the department. You will follow flight plans, assemble items, label outputs, and maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the store environment.

This role requires basic math, reading/writing proficiency, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while standing for long periods. Prior retail experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce Bakery/Deli products to production plan.
• Package and label Bakery/Deli products per program plan.
• Merchandise Bakery/Deli products according to flight plan.
• Stock backroom with Bakery/Deli products, rotating and dating cases.
• Collaborate with other departments to support store growth.
• Notify the Bakery/Deli Manager when products and supplies need ordering.
• Follow PPE, safety and food safety guidelines.
• Adhere to guest experience guidelines.
• Other tasks may be assigned as needed.
