Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Department Manager and Shift Supervisor for the Deli/Bakery area. You will schedule team members, train staff, monitor inventory and merchandising, and ensure food safety and product quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket.
• Decorating experience preferred.
• Ability to supervise and schedule associates; participate in reviews.

Responsibilities

• Schedule department associates and oversee training and performance reviews.
• Manage department inventories and orders to meet customer demand and maximize profits.
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and proper product rotation across the department.
• Operates cash register per company policy and handles transactions.
• Decorate cakes and bakery items and prepare platters as needed.
• Collaborate with supervisors to implement merchandising plans and pricing.
