Job summary

You will assist with product processing, labeling, stocking and sanitation, follow safety guidelines, learn company tools like ACIS and CAO, and work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure accurate, efficient service.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Deli Bakery Department.
• Maintain proper sanitation of department and proper food handling/preparation.
• Follow all technical manuals for processing of product, label placement, etc.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise per policies and guidelines.
• Understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge and maintain a neat appearance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
