Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to provide quality customer service within the department. You will maintain standards per the manual, maximize sales through friendly service, and minimize shrink through proper practices.

The role requires adherence to food safety guidelines, proper sanitation, and accurate product handling, with availability to complete CBT and training packets.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain proper sanitation of the department and food handling procedures.
• Follow manuals for processing, labeling and display of merchandise.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise per policy.
• Adhere to Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and report accidents as required.
