Fresh Thyme Market is hiring a friendly Deli/Bakery Clerk to stock and maintain our deli/bakery cases, assist customers, and ensure product labeling is accurate. You’ll work in a fast-paced, health-conscious grocery environment that values teamwork and high standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities include preparing deli items, weighing products, and supporting inventory prep. The role requires a high school diploma and 1–2 years’ grocery experience; health standards adherence is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years grocery retail experience preferred.
• Previous experience in natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keeps deli/bakery cases stocked and clean during business hours.
• Assists customers and provides information and product selection help.
• Ensures tag and pricing accuracy and rotates stock.
• Adheres to Food Service Department guidelines and safety standards.
• Prepares deli/bakery items with proper ingredients and cooking times.
• Weighs and labels products accurately.
• Participates in pre-inventory preparation and back stock checks.
• Maintains organized, sanitary department appearance.
• Other duties as assigned.
