Fresh Thyme Market is hiring a Deli/Bakery Clerk to keep cases stocked, assist customers, and maintain a clean, organized department. You will rotate stock, ensure accurate pricing, and support cross-selling to meet customer needs while adhering to safety and health guidelines.

The role involves standing for long periods, using deli equipment, and collaborating with the team to deliver friendly service in a fast-paced environment. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-2 years grocery retail experience in Food Service is preferred.
• Knowledge of health department guidelines and basic math/weights is useful.

Mansioni

• Keeps deli/bakery cases clean and stocked and ensures proper pricing and tagging.
• Assists customers with purchases and information, and promotes cross-selling of products.
• Rotates stock, checks shelf life, and logs product quality and shipment accuracy.
• Operates deli/bakery equipment and follows safety guidelines to maintain a sanitary, organized area.
