Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of deli/bakery cases, storage area, and work area for safety; includes cleaning of shelves and products, keeping floors free of spills and debris.
• Stocks deli/bakery cases; includes presentation, facing, filling, and organization; ensure tag and pricing accuracy.
• Examines rotation of deli/bakery products and discards expired items.
• Responds to customer inquiries and assists with purchases, information and product selection.
• Receives, inspects, and logs products for shipment accuracy and quality.
• Operates equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, hand trucks and ovens.
