Description

A Deli Bakery Clerk at Carlie C's IGA provides prompt and friendly customer service, being courteous and cooperative with customers and coworkers. Responsibilities include handling a variety of food items, preparing, serving, cooking, and cleaning as part of the bakery/deli operations.

Responsibilities include:

• Using scales and printers, understanding tare weight.
• Using and sharpening meat/cheese slicers.
• Using chicken fryer and monitoring grease levels.
• Preparing meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Understanding portion control and monitoring food temperature requirements.
• Operating oven and proof box.
• Keeping sales area stocked and rotated.
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
• Maintaining uniform standards.
• Performing daily operational duties as directed by the Deli/Bakery Manager.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older, friendly, and outgoing.
• Neat and clean in appearance.
• Enjoy working with the public.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Experience is a plus.
