Description

A Deli Bakery Clerk at Carlie C's IGA is responsible for providing prompt and friendly customer service. Being courteous and cooperative with customers and coworkers is essential to maximize sales and build long-term business. As a Deli/Bakery Clerk, you'll handle tasks ranging from fried chicken to 9-layer cakes, including preparing, serving, cooking, and cleaning as part of the bakery/deli team.

Responsibilities

• Use scales and printers, understand tare weight.
• Operate and sharpen meat/cheese slicers.
• Use chicken fryer and monitor grease levels.
• Prepare meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
• Understand portion control and food temperature requirements.
• Operate oven and proof box.
• Keep sales area stocked and properly rotated.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the area.
• Follow Carlie C's uniform standards.
• Perform other daily operational duties as directed by the Deli/Bakery Manager.
