Military Deli & Bakery Services, Inc is seeking an Assistant Manager/Shift Lead to support operations across one of our US Military Commissary locations. You will supervise 5-10 staff, uphold exceptional customer service, and ensure food safety compliance while driving department profitability.

This hands-on role requires shift leadership experience, weekend availability, and a commitment to a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grocery or 2+ years food service experience.
• Previous shift lead/management experience mandatory.
• Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage 5-10 employees in the Deli/Bakery department.
• Maintain high levels of customer service while meeting commissary requirements.
• Oversee food safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assist in scheduling and training employees and delegating work assignments.
• Track inventories and order raw materials and supplies; prepare monthly profit records.
• Maintain accurate department records and documentation of activities.

ASSISTANT MANAGER/SHIFT LEADAs an Assistant Manager at Military Deli & Bakery Services you will have the opportunity to serve our nation’s Military personnel and their families at one of our 103 US Military Commissary locations.
