Job summary

Military Deli & Bakery Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Manager/Shift Lead at a Colorado Springs commissary location. You will support the Deli/Bakery Manager, lead a team of 5-10, and uphold top customer service while ensuring food safety.

This hands-on role requires at least 2 years in grocery/food service and prior shift leadership. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and obtain a Food Safety Management Certification within 30 days.

Qualifications

• 2+ years grocery or 2+ years food service experience.
• Previous shift lead/management experience mandatory.
• Ability to stand and walk short distances for an entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.
• Open availability, must be able to work some weekends and closing shifts.
• Must have a valid Food Safety Management Certification or be able to obtain one within 30 days from the hire date.
