Tops is hiring a deli clerk to join our neighborhood store team. You will store, prepare, and package deli items while delivering friendly service to customers.

You must uphold safety, sanitation, and quality standards, stock displays, and follow recipes and procedures under the supervision of the Deli Manager. Candidates should be at least 18 years old, able to read and write, perform basic math, and communicate clearly with team members and customers.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Possess basic computer skills.
• Possess strong communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Follow regulations and safety/sanitation policies for prepared foods.
• Provide attentive customer service about ready-made meals and deli products.
• Maintain sanitary conditions with a clean-as-you-go approach.
• Process, prepare, and package products per recipes and instructions.
• Maintain proper shelf, cooler, and display conditions, stocking and rotating items.
• Adhere to shrink guidelines and track discards.
• Ensure equipment and cases are clean and functioning properly.
• Complete paperwork and follow directions from the Deli Manager.
