Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club in New Jersey is seeking a deli team member to slice, weigh, and package meats and cheeses, maintain deli displays, and assist Members in choosing products. You will help keep the department clean, stock, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service to Members. Answers questions and recommends deli items.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, including cheeses and meats. Helps Members select the correct products.
• Receives and inspects deli shipments. Displays, stocks, rotate, and stores deli products following food safety, freshness and product handling policies.
