Job summary

McKinnon’s Market & Super Butcher Shop in Portsmouth, NH is looking for a friendly Deli Associate to join our team. You’ll greet customers, help with deli selections, and keep the department clean and organized in a fast-paced environment.

No deli experience is required—we’re happy to train the right candidate. Pay is commensurate with experience and overall fit. This in-person role offers flexible shifts and opportunities to learn food safety standards.

• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position

Physical and Working Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods, including shifts of up to 8-10 hours
• Frequently bend, reach, stoop and climb
• Lift and move heavy products and supplies without assistance
• Perform repetitive hand and arm movements with good manual dexterity
• Work in areas with varying temperatures, including refrigerated coolers
• Safely use box cutters, knives and other department equipment
