Job summary

McKinnon\'s Markets in Salem, NH is seeking a deli associate to perform all duties related to food preparation and maintenance of the deli cases, including counter service and stocking.

This role requires standing for extended periods, ability to lift, knife handling and strong teamwork, as well as excellent customer service to customers. You will help price merchandise, organize stock, rotate products and maintain a clean, safe department.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Deli products.
• Proper handling of knives and other cutting equipment.
• Understand and be able to effectively communicate to customers
• Able to perform physical requirements of position
• Able to work well with a team

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service
• Price all merchandise
• Organize, stock and rotate merchandise
• Maintain back stock in good order
• Keep department continually clean, well-maintained and organized
